Voluminous Hair

Voluminous Hair

If you’re anything like me, with a head full of a hair then you know volume is not an issue. We are constantly trying to get are hair to lay flat; but every now and then I want “tamed “volume for a day.  Most people will say to “tease” your hair, blow dry it, or curl it to add some dimension, but I have a few easy and heatless ways to achieve this.

A thin Headband is a good way to add texture and make your hair look more full. If you don’t like your hair pulled all the way out your face you can still achieve the same voluminous look with a bang.

Now obviously loose curls can make your hair look fuller, but so will putting your hair half up and half down. I create this look with a small clip or with 2 bobby pins.

A middle part will give dimensions to your face. If you have a round face this will look better with longer hair, and if you have an oval face you can pull it off with both but shorter hair would look better.

If you have thick hair you won’t need to curl your hair to accomplish these looks, but for those with thinner hair you can use flexi rods for heatless curls.( I use 1inch flexi rods from Sallys Beauty Supply!)
